Vintage Bliss girl gets a studio!

I am so excited to say that our workshop is up and functional. Mark has really worked hard to get the workshop in working order. We have already begun to work on projects and have completed two different projects for clients already.  This table has been painted with ASCP Provence, slightly distressed and waxed with a dark wax. The client plans to recover the seats in burlap.

The next piece we worked on was a great dresser to be used in a nursery as a changing table. This dresser started out an oak color with a high shine. It was painted with ASCP in Paris Grey first and then a top coat of Old White. The piece was then distressed to show the grey underneath. Waxed with a light and dark wax treatment. The client did not want the original hardware replaced. She chose to use new hardware, so that's why this photo shows the piece without hardware.

Here's a closeup of the distressing done on the dresser. I love how it turned out and can't wait to see how this piece looks in her finished nursery!

Thanks to Emilee and Heather for trusting me with your furniture pieces and giving me the opportunity to work for you! Now...get out there and tell all your friends that I am ready to work for them too! *wink* :-)

*Next step for the workshop now is to set up a staging area so I can showcase the work we have done. I know the footprints in paint dust on a concrete floor (as seen in the above photo) are edgy and all, but it's not quite the look I am going for!
